The silent fall of paradise
Size – 48”x48” | Medium – acrylic on wood
Again Padwal takes up cudgels over the destruction of peace in the valley once known as Paradise. The fragmented being bemoans the chaos that has torn Kashmir asunder, as leaves fall and autumn reigns over the valley – a somber and dark time. Bullet holes shatter the top register of the painting as the dotted line of maps divide humanity into warring entities.
